ShipSaver Insurance for eBay Sellers Now Available

eBay sellers have always been able to enjoy discounted shipping insurance offered directly by Shipsurance. However, some sellers were averse to reporting their insured shipments or some do not want a monthly minimum due per month. Thanks to the new eBay Selling Manager Application, Shipsurance and inkFrog have partnered to offer the ShipSaver Insurance Application.

What is it?
allows all U.S. (and some Canada, too) based eBay sellers to insure their shipments sent via the USPS and UPS from within their FREE Selling Manager account. It is extremely easy to add, track, and file claims on your insurance items in case something does happen while in transit. You never have to leave eBay as you simply insure your items directly from inside our application.

How it works?
ShipSaver pulls all of your sold listings from eBay into our convenient, easy to use application and allows you to add insurance quickly and easily through our interface. Just a few clicks and your items are insured – and at a huge cost savings! Basically, you ship it with the USPS or UPS and insure it with ShipSaver.

How big of are the cost savings?
Our rates are a simple $0.99 per $100 of coverage for Domestic USPS shipments, per package. USPS charges $1.75 for the first $50 of coverage and $2.25 for up to $100. Our International shipping insurance rates are only $1.25 per $100. Our rates offer you a huge savings over using USPS insurance both Domestically and Internationally. Filing claims with us is also a snap – and it’s all done online! We also offer a huge discount on UPS shipments.

What are some other benefits of using ShipSaver?
For starters, our insurance allows you to purchase insurance for USPS First Class International shipments. USPS does not offer insurance for this and our rates for this are only $1.25 per $100 of coverage, per package. Our app also saves you time!
