New Countries Added for First Class International Delivery Confirmation

It looks like the United States Postal Service (USPS) will be improving the visibility of certain International First Class shipments in the near future. Effective July 28, 2013, shipments sent via the First-Class Package International Service (FCPIS) will contain delivery confirmation to 15 additional countries. This confirmation service is also being added for Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes and Small boxes.
This confirmation service is free when printing postage online. The new countries are :
Australia
Belgium
Brazil
Croatia
Denmark
France
Germany
Great Britain
Ireland
Israel
Netherlands
New Zealand
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland
Canada was added earlier this year, as well.
Please make sure to get an acceptance scan for all outbound packages otherwise delivery confirmation loses some of it’s luster.
